Target Dance Company will redefine your Child’s dance experience as we will encourage and educate your children in the versatility of dance training. We want the classes to be interesting and intensive to make your child reach their full potential.
Thursday sessions Jazz and Musical Theatre are two vibrant and essential art forms that can greatly enhance a child's style and understanding of dance technique. Through the fundamentals of dance, such as covering corner work, center work, and strength training, children can develop a solid foundation in movement. Jazz, with its lively and energetic rhythms, allows children to explore different styles of music and movement while refining their technique and coordination. On the other hand, Musical Theatre not only covers singing and acting, but it also exposes children to a wide range of theatrical genres, from Shakespearean classics to contemporary masterpieces by the likes of Sondheim. This exposure helps children to cultivate their storytelling skills, express emotions through movement, and develop versatility as performers.
In this current generation, children are being trained to be good at everything, not just one style. Target Saturday sessions ensures we can give them that foundation with intensive lessons covering Street Dance, Commercial, Acro and Ballet syllabus. These sessions are designed to cement the foundations of your child's dance technique and discipline. These classes are imperative if your child wishes to pursue the arts at a higher level.
